The Greatest Jazz Albums of All Time
Any jazz fans on here? I'm working on a list of the greatest jazz albums of all-time on Ranker. For those unfamiliar with Ranker, you can simply give a thumbs up or thumbs down to each album based on whether or not you like it (or just leave it blank if you're not sure). Additionally, anyone can add items that aren't already on the list. I've got about 150 albums on the list but I'm sure there are some I forgot. Any suggestions to add to the list?

Are we reaching back to big band?
Where are we situating Stan Kenton in relation to big band and jazz? Ladies and Gentlemen, this was being introduced when the Dorseys, Benny Goodman, and Glen Miller were setting the American musical palette.

Now you said the magic word. Maynard got sloppy in his old age, but one of my first memories in jazz was him telling us to play trumpet to the clock on the far wall, as in the clock wouldn't move unless your breath forced it into motion.
Call back to 'Heavy Weather'

Yeah, any time period. I actually have a Stan Kenton album on the list, along with a lot of stuff older than that.
