DEN vs MIA - Manning is playing uncharacteristically shitty
KC vs OAK - Short week with a banged up squad

Someone could very well end up with a 1 game lead in the AFC West come next Monday

I just want to win and get to the Denver showdown. Look forward to seeing if we can finally beat Peyton and the Broncos.

That's a huge barometer for this team.

If we can beat Den we can compete with anyone in the AFC...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

It's a divisional game - anything can happen. Obviously, KC can compete with anyone in the NFL. There aren't really any dominant teams this year.

AZ has the best record and they won with Stanton yesterday. Denver gave them their lone loss way back in week 5. They have a stretch of interesting games, including the Chiefs visiting them in week 14.

I think the Packers have the best shot in the NFC at this point, and they've lost to SEA, DET and NOS. That's a fun team to watch.

The AFC is really a crapshoot. Patriots have the best record and are on a roll, and with a healthy Gronk - they're solid.

If Alex Smith is forced to rally the troops because a team has found a way to contain Charles... that's the trick. KC is sound in most other areas, but that's the one that can bite ya.

The level of estrogen in this thread is remarkable.

And when did MHM stop being considered one of the classiest rival fans on this board? He was once considered the gold standard for bronco fans that most could not live up to. The past 10 years has really done a number on this fan base's psyche.

IMHO, it's ALL and ACT my friend...

Not trying to change anyone's opinion of the guy. That's why I'm clear to state it's just my opinion. He and I have absolutely no respect for each other that suits both of us just fine. I have no patience for his type of act.

I understand personality conflicts. You two don't jive. It happens. That does not automatically make him a scum bag troll however.

And, IMHO, if it were just an act, I would think that his true colors would have been seen after 14+ years. Maybe not, maybe he is just that good. But I'll need some hard fast evidence before I accuse him of such.

Yep. Never said he was a "Knowmo"...

No disrespect to you, but you and I will disagree on the subject. IMHO, it is indeed an act.

Your decision making process is sound. I used to feel as you do about him until he provided me with said evidence. I called him out - we had words - we don't like each other. We are both cool with the result.

I've met and tailgated with MHM. He's genuine.

A bit misguided in his fandom, but a good dude nonetheless.

That's still the coldest I've ever been watching a game... didn't help that they ran the initial kickoff in for a TD and that Plummer generally... played like you would expect Plummer to play @ KC.

Good day though, my toes still stop moving at the thought.

December 19, 2004 ... damn, 10 years ago.
