**** Luck he is damaged goods besides Mahomes is going be elite and have a better career. Andy Reid has made all the right steps with Patrick Mahomes II and he is exceeding even coaches expectations.
**** Luck. Roll with Mahomes next year. We can trade Alex Smith for a first round pick.

I would think Denver is the most logical landing spot, given the Stanford/Elway connections.
Good. Fine. ****ing bring it the **** on, bitch. Personally, if I'm Ballard, I wouldn't let him anywhere near an AFC team. But the only NFC team I can think of in a dire QB situation is San Francisco, and that's just trading him to Hades. |

“Two years ago, if you’d said to pick a quarterback to start your franchise with, there’d have been almost unanimous agreement on Andrew Luck,” former NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck said. “I don’t think that’s close to being the case at this point. He’s been beat up. He’s been hurt a bunch. The team hasn’t done well around him.” Luck has been plagued by a series of injuries. He has played 22 of the Colts’ 33 games since the start of the 2015 season. The team has a record of 16-17 over that span. Luck has thrown 25 interceptions to go with 46 touchdown passes in those 22 games. Luck just turned 28. The end of his NFL career is nowhere in sight, in all likelihood. But he’s also not exactly a young player any more. The clock is ticking. Great promise must be turned into great results beginning sometime relatively soon. “You take a step back and look at it,” Hasselbeck said. “A 12-year career is a long career in the NFL. He might be halfway done. You think back to the expectations — best prospect since John Elway — and I don’t know if any of them have been met. He’s good. That’s undeniable. But you compare him to some other people and you say: What’s the difference between Andrew Luck and Matt Stafford? It’s not all his fault. But you do have to be concerned a little bit. And I think the Colts are concerned a little bit.” |

Really didn't figure it would be this much of a walk. You guys remember Andrew Luck, right? I mean damn fellas - we're operating under the assumption that the medicals check out here and his arm isn't hanging from the socket by a shred of labrum and a prayer. Sure seems to be getting the '**** you' treatment a lot more than he deserves.

Harbaugh coming in as coach is really interesting. He would likely get a shit ton of power - maybe Ballard would be in a similar situation to Dorsey/Reid was.
That would probably fix that team up REAL quick. |

I don't think it's his fault at all. And if the Colts are concerned.....they should be looking in the ****ing mirror. They landed the best QB prospect to come out since their last QB was a prospect. They had the perfect scenario fall into their laps and they completely ****ed it up. No offensive line help and they just kept drafting small, fast WRs.

The 'overwhelming data' would show that his last hit on a QB was in 1999, a QB who had some very productive years but declined after their Super Bowl appearance in 2004, and Reid hasn't been able to develop any quality starting QB since. Nobody here is cheering against Reid or Mahomes, at all. We all want Reid and Mahomes to become Brady and Beli-type great. It's just a discussion on whether Reid should be called a QB guru when he's been on an unsuccessful search for one for almost 15 years. |

Or he could be damaged enough to never be what he could have been. Who ****ing cares? I prefer Mahomes. I prefer his style of play. I prefer having our own QB, that our coaches identified, targeted, and aggressively acquired. Let someone else deal with Luck learning a new offense, rehabbing a shoulder, and adjusting to a whole new team. By the time that happens, Mahomes will have taken over and we will be one of the hottest teams in the NFL. |

Plus, damn it DJ, Mahomes is ours. He's going to be developed here, become a star and be a Chief his career. It's what we deserve and we're gonna have it.
Stop trying to pawn him off for the chick that was hot a few years ago, still looks good but has been plowed a few times. We don't want taht. Yeah, it would be fun, but we're waiting on this 10 we've been putting the work in on to slut it up. It's gonna be glorious and we're gonna enjoy the shit out of it |

Look at how much Mahomes has improved since we drafted him- he beat Everyone's expectations in the preseason. He has not even come close to reaching his potential yet-whereas Luck is topped out and declining with injuries. I don't want another team's cast off again- I am happy with Mahomes, He is going to be elite and break every Chief's record there is. We will have an explosive Young team next year- I can't wait!! |
