McDonald's Finally Selling Bottles of Big Mac Secret Sauce...
Stupid is as stupid does...
Here's the article: http://www.adweek.com/adfreak/mcdona...g-18000-162771 Here's the deconstructed recipe that's been around for years and is exactly like the real thing: Big Mac Sauce 1/2 cup mayonnaise 2 tablespoons French dressing 4 teaspoons sweet pickle relish 1 tablespoon finely minced white onion 1 teaspoon white vinegar 1 teaspoon sugar 1/8 teaspoon salt 1. Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl. Stir well. 2. Place sauce in a covered container and refrigerate for several hours, or overnight, so that the flavors blend. Stir the sauce a couple of times as it chills. Makes about 3/4 cup. |

I got stupid friday afternoon and had 2! big macs, just didnt care, and you know what... they were worth it.
Loves me an occasional big mac, they just taste different from anything else at that place, I'd swear they put just a bit of rye in the big mac buns. |

Made the sauce in OP except doubled it and used thousand island instead of French dressing because I didn't have any. Didn't add the sugar. Tasted exactly the same..

You forgot paprika. It's understandable since you can't taste it. |

I'd like a big plate of deep fried tender calamari right now. With parm cheese atop. Maybe a side of roasted red pepper aioli for dipping. talking sauce reminded me of the Bristol on the plaza - back in the day - they carried the appetizer I'd just mentioned. That Aioli was second to none - that was a long long time ago.

Speaking of Parmesan, you should try sautéed squash. Small dice a little onion, mince some garlic, and sauté in butter or oil until the squash browns. Toss with parm. It's delicious. |

sounds good - do you use Olive Oil? - I just finished the last of the great northerns + ham that i made - I kept it simple - one whole onion - salt and pepper - a lot of ham and about 4 Tsp of bacon grease. I love beans - It would have been better with some kale in there, still pretty hearty.
