The fans of teams justifying their teams and QBs is getting beyond silly. The Bills fans, for one example, are really reaching deep in the denial bag. Please post what you find.

Here is a sample:

When you strip it all down and realy look at it, take away the team name, the supporting cast, the coaches, team mates, you're not left with one of the best quarterbacks in the league, you're left with the best quarterback in the league. 17 is the most polarizing player in the modern NFL era. If 17 is dropped into any NFL roster, 17 immediately makes that team more of a contender than any quarterback in the league would. There's a reason 17 is the most played player in Madden, 17 is a living breathing cheat code.

Buffalo is getting their stadium, fans can move on to comparing Allen to Jackson now

Do you want to keep rubbing it in. I still think Allen and the bills have as good a shot as anyone as this core will mostly be together through 24. 25 will be a transition year

No, it was a statement of fact. Cam Newton did what most QBs never do during their careers.

Lamar won't be a starter in a couple years imo. I have no idea what Baltimore was thinking with that contract.

Dilfer won a sb. A statement of fact

Outside one year newton was a below avg passer and never even had back to back winning seasons.

Allen has maturity issues on and off the field that could be a issue. Jim Kelly was 10x worse tho. Kelly was such an ahole he almost broke up the bills in 89

But the 90's Bills were more defense and Thurman Thomas... Kelly was Aikmen... Good, but didn't make them great.

Yeah Kelly was kinda terrible in the playoffs outside a few games. His super bowl vs the redskins was horrific

You're seeing exactly the same thing with Lamar

Yeah Cam was amazing for that one season. He had a few really good seasons, but nothing that came close to his MVP season.

I think a big reason for his decline is because how refs allowed him to get absolutely killed and demolished by helmet to helmet hits. He was hit illegally, like a lot.

Matt verdarame did a good video on Twitter listing his top 8 qbs

He listed Burrow over Allen at 2 and 3. It was compelling.

That's not elite in your opinion?

I do agree that just making it to one doesn't make you elite, but it does set you apart from most qb's who never make it to the dance.
