Everybody but my 7th rounder for Cincy has already been drafted by the end of day 2…I also drafted 2 Chiefs! This has to be the best team score we’ve had, right? And I still have a guy in the late 7th that I think goes in the next 2 rounds that adds to that total…and even if Durham goes undrafted, it doesn’t even really hurt the score because of how late I took him.
28) Dalton Kincaid, TE, Utah. (Buffalo traded up to 25, so +3) 60) Felix Anudike-Uzomah, EDGE, Kansas St. (KC took him @31 +29) 92) Ji'Ayir Brown, S, Penn St (SF took him @87 +5) 131) Kendre Miller, RB, TCU. (NO took him @71 +60) 163) Wanya Morris, OT, Oklahoma. (KC took him @92 +71) 206) Marte Mapu, S, Sacramento State. (NE took him @76 +130) 246) Payne Durham, TE, Purdue So far I think I’m up to a +298 and I’m sure Durham will add to that when he gets picked, too. If we want to spend a few extra minutes and agree on a specific draft value board everyone goes with, we can score our drafts based on +|- draft value points overall as well as draft value points over/under expected. Like for instance, the FAU pick. If we use the rich hill chart, I used 88 points and he went in a slot worth 190, so that pick would score a +102 draft value points So the Bengals draft would score: Kincaid used 209 and value 230 +21 FAU used 88 value 190 +102 Brown used 43 value 48 +5 Miller used 18 value 68 +50 Morris used 9 value 43 +34 Mapu used 4 value 61 +57 That’s a +269 so far in surplus draft value points. Basically the equivalent of the 20th overall pick in surplus value if I’m figuring it correctly (which I believe I am). |

(note: I'm 5 margaritas deep, disregard if my cognitive ability to understand your post is off Boss...)
I definitely DONT want to spend extra minutes trying to calculate value on a complicated scale. I think the simple +/- based on draft position works best. Regardless, you're kicking ass! |

To finalize my Bengals draft score, I took Payne Durham at 246 and the Buccaneers selected him at 171…so that’s +75
That gives my bengals a +374 for the whole draft. (Pretty sure that’s the highest team score we’ve had since we’ve scored them) Broken down into draft value points using the rich hill chart. Kincaid used 209 and value 230 +21 FAU used 88 value 190 +102 Brown used 43 value 48 +5 Miller used 18 value 68 +50 Morris used 9 value 43 +34 Mapu used 4 value 61 +57 Durham used 1 value 8 +7 A total of +276 in additional value. Basically the equivalent of an added 19th overall pick over value. I think all of the Falcons I picked got drafted, too. I’ll run those #s later |

Green Bay Mock vs NFL draft results:
Green Bay Mock Draft 15. Myles Murphy, EDGE, Clemson (selected 28th by Cincinnati) -13 45. Luke Musgrave, TE, Oregon St. (selected 42nd by Green Bay) -3 78. Sydney Brown, S, Illinois (selected 66th by Philadelphia) +12 116. Jalen Moreno-Cropper, WR, Fresno St. (undrafted- signed with Dallas) -143 149. Jaquelin Roy, DT, LSU (selected 141st by Minnesota) +8 170. Israel Abanikanda, RB, Pittsburgh (selected 143rd by New York Jets) +27 232. Anthony Bradford, OL, LSU (selected 108th by Seattle) +122 235. Dylan Horton, EDGE, TCU (selected 109th by Houston) +126 242. Will Mallory, TE, Miami (selected 162nd by Indianapolis) +80 256. Grant DuBose, WR, Charlotte (selected 256th by Green Bay) Overall: +216. First 5 rounds of our mock draft, I selected players that were taken pretty close in comparison to the NFL draft. No real surprises although I was pleasantly surprised Sydney Brown was taken close to where I selected him in our draft. On the downside I am apparently way higher on Moreno-Cropper than NFL GM's and scouts. He was snatched up quick by Dallas, interested to see how the training camp battle goes. Other than that we got some real solid value late in this draft with Horton, Bradford and Mallory. In regards to accuracy, the two picks that I got correct were Musgrave (2nd round) and Dubose (7th round). |

My Atlanta draft scoring (draft value chart points in parentheses)
Wilson taken at 8 (406) drafted 7th (426) +1 (+20) Campbell taken at 44 (135) and drafted 18th (135) +26 (+152) Laporta taken at 75 (63) and drafted at 34 (175) +41 (+112) Robinson taken at 110 (30) and drafted at 145 (13) -35 (-17) Washington taken at 113 (28) and drafted at 185 (6) -72 (-22) Martin taken at 159 (10) and drafted at 96 (39) +63 (+29) Duggan taken at 224 (2) and drafted at 239 (2) -15 (even) Mullen taken at 225 (2) and went undrafted (257) -32 (-2) So the overall scoring for just draft slots was -23 Overall scoring with the rich Hill draft chart used +272 (also, the equivalent of between the 19/20th overall pick in additional value. |

+351 in surplus draft slots (also, might be a record) +548 draft value points Broken down, (unless I’m missing something) that basically equates to getting an additional value of the third overall pick AND pick 103 over average draft value for the picks I selected for. That’s a murder spree. |

+68 on balance. Not bad; as ever, I have a bad pick in the trenches that waxes my score. One of these days I'm just going to go an entire draft without drafting an OL or DL just to avoid it. Really surprises the hell out of me that McClendon went 70 spots after Saldiveri but on balance, I'm happy with it.

At least I knew I'd started strong and then fell apart from McKee and back. Called it and sho 'nuff... -347 after absolutely killing the first 4 picks (+53 through the first 45 picks). That's a pretty spectacularly awful end-game. Can't even complain about it because I knew I'd done it.
