What’s odd is that he never really hit his head. It looked like his neck got extended though.

Any medical experts on here that can explain to me how that might have resulted in a concussion?

The player came down on him and his head hit the turf pretty hard.

Watch the play again - his head never contacts the ground. Don't know if he got a blow to the back of the head, but it didn't hit the ground.

I saw some people speculate that he got choked. Circulation was cut off and he tried to get up too fast which resulted in the “wobbly” behavior.

I’m not sure if Wilson was pressing down on his neck hard enough to cause that but it does make a lot of sense.

But even if the defender had a good full choke on him, it wasn’t long enough to put someone to sleep. It must’ve just been a perfect shot.

When you look at the angle of his neck as he was going down it would not have taken long.

In self defense classes I have to take for work, they talk about strikes to the neck that cut off the flow of blood to the brain and cause people to black out...It doesn't take very long if it's hit properly.

It looked a lot more like something like that than a concussion. His helmet barely touched the turf.

It looked like a whiplash type of concussion.
