They're not getting $6.3M out of Schwartz. After you look at his dead cap number, it's a net $3.75M IIRC. I don't think this article is accurate.

I don't think that's how it works.

The signing bonus is already counted against the cap. Them getting their money back simply gets them their money back. It doesn't erase the cap hit.
