It should also be noted that they touched on a few aspects of the political side of things. it's criminally brief but I think given the capacity for a full accounting of it to be a Dan Carlin-esque rabbit hole they did a good enough job.

For the sake of the movie, I think they did it right. You just have to roll with the “trust us. They’re psycho” and move on.

This movie was like a hypnotic dream thanks to its cinematography. Just relentless and urgent pacing that didnt give me time to catch a breath. And I have never heard such a quiet theater at the end for being in a sold out movie. Would have been the best movie of 2019 had I seen it then

Sounds like it blows Dunkirk away, in film speak. Another weird audience reaction was at the end of Richard Jewell, my theater was full and everyone started clapping. Same thing happened at the end of American Sniper.

It shits on Dunkirk from the highest stoop. See this movie at the best possible theater you can find. The audio is spectacular (unlike the shitty mix that Dunkirk had).

People are so dumb. Clapping at a movie is like opening a can of SpaghettiOs and saying "My compliments to the chef."

I'm gonna try to catch this one in the next couple of days.
