I didn't like how they made the Skrulls the sympathetic character(s) in this movie. That lot is as big of bad guys as Marvel has to offer.

It wasn't awful, but it's not in the top 10 of MCU movies.

Which is why I don’t get it being roundly hailed as this TRIUMPH of excellence

It’s subpar among comic book movies IMO
