2019 Free agency Thread
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research. https://overthecap.com/ |

They got the 34th overall pick for Matt Cassel (and broke down Mike Vrabel). Garropolo's worth was largely estimated based solely on the fact he was a Patriots backup. He hadn't actually proven anything yet.

Difference from Brady to Rosen is like the difference between a 2020 Ferrari and a 2003 Corolla

I’m not gonna sit here and call Rosen a future All-Pro, but the kid was a rookie with the worst OL in football and some lackluster weapons for the most part. I wouldn’t count him out just yet.

Chiefs aren't getting much interest on Houston because of his price point and teams know they'll cut him at some point. Would be more surprised if Ford is traded than Clowney. |

Yeah we are definitet cutting Houston. Teams can just wait it out.
Not sure Ford will be traded either. Seems like they won’t move him unless someone offers a first.

I think the other teams are stupid as ****. He’s gonna end up costing them more guaranteed money if they wait for him to get cut and hit the open market. |

Just theoretically, would any one entertain the idea of trading for Odell and either trading or letting Hill walk? I wouldn't and I doubt they would, but hear me out here. Odell is already signed and on a decent deal. Hill is going to require a nice big contract. Just a thought. |
