Antonio Brown missed practices, game after dispute with teammate
https://www.post-gazette.com/sports/...s/201812310108
Steelers receiver Antonio Brown did not play in the season-ending game against the Cincinnati Bengals because he elected to sit out practice last week after an unspecified heated dispute with a teammate, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has learned. Several sources said the Steelers’ decision to not play Brown against the Bengals had nothing to do with any type of knee injury. The disagreement occurred Wednesday morning during a routine walk-through practice that precedes their regular afternoon practice on the South Side. Brown became disgusted and threw a football in anger at one of his teammates, several sources said. After that, Brown did not practice the rest of the week. According to a source, it was Brown’s decision not to practice with his teammates. He did not attend Saturday’s walk-through practice and skipped the Saturday night meeting at the team hotel — the latest in missed meetings by the All-Pro receiver. Brown was never on the field for the start of the game against the Bengals and left Heinz Field at halftime, according to multiple sources. According to several sources, Brown showed up at Heinz Field expecting to play against the Bengals. That surprised several players, including one who called the situation “embarrassing” and “the worst I’ve seen.” That player said the entire situation and the way it was handled affected his desire to play in the game. |

Brown really has no one to blame but himself, he hasn't done anything to make anyone think he isn't out of his ****ing mind.

What a cluster, and it's all been manufactured by Brown himself. What NFL player blows off his head coach when he's trying to get a hold of him to check on his availability?

It's kind of insane to think about that we'd rather have Tyreek Hill than Antonio Brown.
Going back to when Hill was drafted that had like a 1% chance of coming to fruition. |

NFL owners are going to start going to figure out a way to screw players and their agents out of these big contracts. There's going to be a Freemason's meeting where they all agree to not allow this to happen any longer by banding together.

The whole thing is a cluster****. From Ben to AB, to Bell, to the GM.
They've married the stripper (big ben) so you can't get upset when she cheats or does dumb shit so they're stuck with him. |

Being a Steelers fan in general sounds just miserable. Everybody in town acts miserable. People from there are miserable. Imagine hanging out with a bunch of Mangino and Haley type people. It's like they have been in the rust belt so long they can't help it, even if Pittsburgh is one of the few thriving cities in the rust belt.
Anyway, goodbye Steelers. That team is done. |

Un·cle Tom
noun DEROGATORY•NORTH AMERICAN a black man considered to be excessively obedient or servile. Pretty much saying that Ryan Clark is a bitch who is going to side with the Steelers no matter what. Incredibly stupid and ignorant thing to call someone publicly, but pretty accurate as far as the insult he was conveying. |

Tomlin's press conference was telling. I don't think he's out of the weeds on this injury report debacle, either. AB didn't even have the MRI to check out his "knee issue". Not only can Tomlin trip up an opposing receiver, apparently he can trip up himself.
It's interesting to watch this team implode from the inside out. It makes one grateful for the way the Chiefs do business, actually. FAX |

Antonio Brown is an incredibly stupid and ignorant individual, thus why he says incredibly stupid and ignorant things. Steelers have bent over backwards to put up with this fool time and time again, only to have him spit in their collective faces repeatedly. Only fault of the Steelers is that they gave him that ridiculous contract in the first place when he was well on his way to becoming one of the most cancerous individuals in modern NFL history.

I know. I'm only saying that from the POV of Antonio Brown, the insult was correct. He wasn't just throwing out a random racial slur. From the POV of any sane person, Ryan Clark is totally in the right and Antonio Brown is a sociopathic egomaniac whose only concern is himself.
