Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started. Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. I wish I could get down to that low of calories.... Been pigging out a lot lately. Need soccer to start up to help me get rid of the extra calories!

Even with all of my soccer, I don't think I need more than that. I'm afraid if I increase, I'll start putting on fat. I like having a six pack in the winter. Means cutting down in the summer will be that much easier.

Had the toughest bike ride of my life yesterday. The distance was only 45 miles, but large portions of it were into the wind and the climb was crazy. A total climb of 3,450 feet over 4 hours.
Weighing in at 262, down 158 from my high weight with 37-42 lbs. to go. Eat less, move more! |

Ever since I stopped doing the low carb thing, I don't eat nearly as many carbs when they're around. My diet is 90% chicken breast and fruit.

I love when over-weight people chime in on nutrition like this. I won't eat that but I'll eat way over my mantainence calories for years on end and carry around an extra 50lbs. But no, that's not bad for me, artificial sweeteners are!!!

Diet is actually worse for you than a regular soda. I love soda, when I have one it's usually a clear one. Those are suppose to be "healthier" for you too. Lol healthy and soda shouldn't belong in the same sentence.
