Unfortunately for the SEC there are simply non-competitive programs that let their arenas sit empty.

Not saying that's untrue but I'd have to see the data on all those teams outside of Kentucky

Calipari
Donovan
Mike Anderson
Pearl
Howland
Frank Martin

Alabama is obviously looking to make a big hire too.

The list keeps growing.

I think Missouri should have ****ing hired Ben Howland last year, when he was reaching out and expressing interest in the job.

Or Chris Mack when he did the same.

I think Missouri absolutely is missing the boat. I think they missed the boat LAST year when they should have thrown a goddamned bank at Gregg Marshall and forced him out of Wichita.

Which is an all time high for the arena and nearly 30% more than last season.

That does suck. No question about it.

The decision-makers have changed and the new regime saw the game too. You have to spend money to make money. If they want to hire schmucks like Kim then they will get what they pay for.

He was about 5th on the list of attainable coaches for Mizzou, but still would have been a much better choice than TrueSon ****ing Anderson.

Howland
Chris Mack
Tim Floyd
Larry Eustachy
Mike White

The people who forced Kim Anderson on the Missouri fan base should be forced to drink antifreeze with Madison Bumgarner.

Young guy,38, played at Ole Miss then assisted there several years, offense-first coach who was 13th in scoring last year and 40th this year. (Dad is Duke's athletic director)

Since I hate Mizzouche I'm glad they didn't hire a young hungry guy with an exciting brand of ball who knows the region they're recruiting and who wouldn't even command a massive salary. They're stuck with a guy who scores 50/game, loses constantly, and has sucked the life out what little remains of that hoops fan base

Cool. I agree that struggling programs are better served going that route. Hence why Beaty is a good move for KU. Should have done it 5 years ago but better late than never.
