Chiefs have beaten every SB team for the past 4 seasons

I know it was pointed out that KC beat both Philly and NE this season...but they also have beaten every SB team they have played for the past 4 years.

Seahawks and NE

Denver in Denver

Atlanta in Atlanta

Philly and NE

I guess that the Chiefs back-up QB, last year, just won SB MVP is just apropos....

Its a game of attrition and what you are at beginning middle and end is the difference. On paper we looked good then key injuries and trying to eek out 1 more year with aging players. Weakness and depth at key positions have always been exposed on the Chiefs. Andy it appears like many coaches play the statistics and has an aversion to risk. This seems to also be the type of personality in his QB he seeks. Hope like hell he doesn't robot the gunslinger out of Mahomes.

I dont believe in curses...but I do know that officiating cost KC in the past two postseasons. Games that calls directly influenced the final score. The one "no call" that sticks with me was against the Steelers...where the defender, with his back to the QB, ran into Kelce's chest a full second before the ball was there....then of course the Triplette call.

Injuries to key players have been been the Achilles heel of this team

Well...the difference is that the 3 straight were against their division...who they play twice every year....which means they lost to them also. Only one of KCs was against their own rivals...and they also beat both SB teams in the same season, twice, in four years.
