HELP!!!

like a dummy i let a caller who identified himself as a windows technician get access to my pc using some address like teamviewer...

he did a lot of changes and then told me i needed to buy a 1 time fix for only $249!!!\

when i said no, he said i would never be able to use my pc again and sure enough, when i rebooted the system demanded a password (i've never had a password for signing on)...

of course i don't have any password, the hacker guy put that on there i'm sure...

he had me doing something with some security certificate when he first mentioned money - i told him to undo what he had done to change my pc and he said pay the money and he would, and then i said well **** you then and hung up...

he then typed on my screen **** you harder...

just before i got that call, malware bytes was hanging at the point where it begins to delete the problems found...

how do i make sure he no longer has access to my pc?

how do i fix whatever it is he's done?

how do i reset the sign on password to no password required?

how do i make sure this asshole can't get into my pc again?

do i need to cancel my credit cards and change bank accounts?

ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

i got on this time by choosing system restore and starting win7 in safe mode with networking...

First thing I would do I unplug the network cable from the computer or disable the WIFI. More than likely he setup up a way to remote access to your computer. So if you don't want him messing with your stuff remove your computer from the internet until you wipe your computer clean.

Not the virus, I simply meant the process of resetting a users local password. People forget it

Personally after I removed it from the network I would transfer any files and documents I wanted onto a thumb drive then do a complete re-install of Windows. You can try and do a system restore but if I knowingly gave a hacker access to my computer I wouldn't chance it. I don't know what settings he changed or what he did on the back end once you gave him access.

Also did he by any chance have you access your router? If you gave him permission or he logged into your home router than things could get really interesting. Just to be safe make sure you change your router admin password of the default settings. It takes me about 2 seconds to hack into someone's router if they leave the default settings. Then once I have access to your router I can basically do whatever I want on your system.
