If Rodgers starts, do you pull the trigger on him? Arg, that 2nd RB spot is torturing me. I'm leaning Mathews, but I really want to like Rice or even Dennis Johnson. |

I flip flopped between Bernard and Rice. Rice should get carries but his team is stupid and likes to throw the ball. Bernard is the most talented RB on his team....but he still loses carries to BJGE. |

I'm definitely starting Bernard. If I'm going to upset this guy and win the championship, it's going to be with my best runner playing.
I am just down to Mathews, Rice, and Johnson for the RB2. I just have a feeling Johnson is going to go off for a pretty nice game. But it's a total boom or bust. And nice games don't win you championships. It really is Mathews or Rice. Ugh. |

I would go with Rice, so the smart play would probably be Mathews

Yeah, I have made the wrong call on Mathews all year.
I bench him, he explodes. I play him, he busts. No idea what to do at RB2... |

Honestly....I think you go Bernard and Matthews. Rice hasn't done shit outside of maybe one or two games. San Diego should be up on Oakland early....so that means more carries for Matthews. In his last two games....he got 29 carries each game.

I'd start Rodgers if he plays.
I agree with you that Keenan Allen is the odd man out among your superstar WRs. And I agree with Pestilence that Bernard/Matthews is probably the way to go, but since you said you're a big underdog, I'd also consider Johnson because IMO he's the long shot with the high upside.

It's just impossible to predict how that Texans game will play out.
If the Texans keep it competitive, Johnson will put up great numbers. If the Broncos blow them the **** out, as we're all expecting, then Johnson has no chance. |
