A question about rep
I know rep isn't a big deal, but I'm curious... do you usually get rep in a fairly continuous flow, or do you get them in spurts. Or do you just buy rep at Cadella's or Cass Bro?

Me... I can go days or weeks without any rep at all, and then get three, four, five or more in one day. I find that strange, but maybe it's not.

Maybe you should say interesting/funny/though-provoking/cool things more than once a week. Then you wouldn't get rep in "spurts".

I usually get repped 7 or 8 times a day. Not sure what your problem is?

I used to get rep multiple times a day. But then I started drinking...

Lately I've been getting a lot more of it, but I've spent more time on here lately as well. I really don't care about rep, it used to be a fun game that got killed off for me by a certain poster. There are times though when I think to myself "The ****? Don't these ****ers know this is one of my gems?" I know Phobs has had the same thing happen to him. We've laughed about it.

I'm a spurt type rep getter. My rep usually comes from saying something funny or posting a funny picture. Every now and then I'll get some genuine rep from providing some good advice. I don't have a lot of input on the serious football talk because I don't pretend to know everything about football (like SOME people).

I'm also ashamed to say that I've participated in some victory rep whore type threads.

I've also noticed that as I've doled out less rep, I've gotten less in return. There was some validity to the whole argument that rep was a circle jerk session. You have to make me genuinely laugh now, or do something awesome for me to rep you. Check that, sometimes I still use it as a way to PM someone, and sometimes I'm trying to make one individual laugh at something, rather than the whole board.

Mine works like a finely tuned pyramid scheme. My hard work from a few years ago continues to pay me about 50 a day in residuals alone...and then if I put in any work I might double that. I get five a day just for waking up and at least that many more wishing me great sleep and good health.
