It does happen with other teams but I'm not sure the level of suckage in the AFC east for so many years has ever been duplicated by any other division. It's literally going on almost 20 years now. Favre played 1 year for the Jets in '08 prior to that the last decent QB in that division was Marino and he retired in 1999. Pennington was the only other QB who you could say was mid level starting caliber and he was usually injured.

Peyton had some easy years too, but they also had a lot of years where Tennessee and Jacksonville were pretty good.

San Diego had a pretty good run too from '06-'09 when the AFC west was terrible.

With New England it's every year. Usually 3 weeks into the season the J.V. teams are already 0-3 or 1-2 and Belichik can cruise and focus on the 1-2 meaningful games on the schedule.

I just believe that players are more important than coaches. They are ones on the field and we have scene crap coaches win the SB with good players they inherited. Switzer, Dungy, Gruden come to mind. Bill was a loser witbout Btady. So yeah, Brady is Bills ticket.

Like continue to get rid of his best offensive linemen and give him a receiving corp full of undersized slapdicks every year? The only thing Bill does for Brady is keep McDouche around and give him free reign on that side of the ball. Without that offense that team would be in the shitter.

What's epic is that now you're resorting to making stuff up to talk smack. Where do you get this nonsense that Watkins has a degenerative foot?? He had a foot injury that is now healed. Tell you what. Let's make a bet. I believe that Watkins has a better year than last season and Keesum has lower stats across the board than he did last year. So, if Watkins improves and Keesum declines, you leave the board from the end of the last regular season game until the first game of preseason. If they both decline, or if Watkins declines or if Keesum improves, I accept the same terms. Injury to either player voids the deal.

Sure there is. The Patriots led the NFL again in turnover percentage the year AFTER Deflategate.

Also, the fumble rate statistics that were used to "prove" Deflategate were crap. They included fumbles on special teams -- where the NFL controls the footballs and not the teams -- and some other stats that were just flat bogus. It was a complete joke.

In any case, the 2015 season makes for an excellent out-of-sample test with respect to New England's fumble tendencies. Although the Patriots have been accused of going crazy lengths to gain a winning edge, it seems safe to assume that any suspect ball routine could not have been a part of the game-day preparation process this season. (The NFL implemented new procedures for inspecting game balls.) As a result, if one initially made the link between the Patriots low fumble rates and deflated footballs, the natural follow-up would be to assume that New England's fumble rates would revert toward the league average in 2015.

So what happened in 2015?
