I hope they do and take a QB. That would signal trhe end of Tom after 18 and pit them back at the drawing board with the rest of the pack. Without Brady Bill is over.

Meh, think Kroenke knows the best way to success is sizzle. You can Snyder it and create outrageous payroll then hit cap hell in a few years. Or you can take the Raiders route and keep buying mortgaging exciting players every year. At the very least Kroenke knows he needs to win now to make that market interested. For now it's all about winning. A few years from now, who knows. No matter what, I'll be rooting against him.

Difference being age. Rams like Chiefs are acquiring youthful age, except for Talib. Synder likes washed up formerly talented vets just wanting to get paid.

All those guys are essentially on one year deals (unless they pick up the option on Peters)

They can re-sign the guys that are worth it and let other teams overpay for whoever they let walk and collect a couple third round comp picks for letting them go elsewhere.

It’s brilliant resource management.
Gurley along with Peters will likely have their options picked up.

Signing Suh for 1 year isn't anything damaging in the long run. They essentially did the same thing with Nick Fairley and it turned out well.

Was actually just about the only WR the Pats had that played the entire season. He got concussed DURING the Super Bowl and was out for most of the game.

Do they have the ammo to go all the way for a QB? I don't think so to get to 2 or 5.

Pats need help at offensive tackle, a QB to groom for the future, edge defenders and off the ball linebackers. And a TE.

Don't think BB sells the farm to get one guy, though maybe if he thinks he has Brady's replacement, given how important the QB position is...

Right. Because Walsh didn't have Montana, Shula Unitas, Griese and Marino, Paul Brown Otto Graham, etc. ad infinitum.

Five Super Bowls wins speaks for itself. More than any head coach ever. More than any quarterback ever. But hey, keep on hating on. I revel in it.

It’s brilliant if they don’t plan on signing any other FAs because they’ll negate those comp picks.

He did for sure but no way in hell Bills way of doing things works without Brady. Brady takes a huge pay cut amd Bill uses that against players and he uses Brady to just make it work with anyone they get. No big contracts fir anyone. His no days off shit only works because Brady does it.
