Bad news.

I'm going to be unavailable for the draft. I'm going to be on a flight home. Doubt I can trust in-flight WiFi, even if they have it available.

But I don't want to completely give up my spot. Here's what I'd like to do:

I will remain owner of Terms of Enrampagement. I will be "hiring" a General Manager to oversee the draft and the week-to-week operation of the team. As owner, I may sometimes make lineup or acquisition suggestions. If said GM is successful, I may extend their contract for the following season.

If they are not, their ass is going to get fired.

I'm cheaper than Clark Hunt, so don't expect any pay. But if you'd like the job, please post a small letter of interest along with a FF resume. Interviews will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

If you know anyone that may be interested, please refer them to this post/thread.

Thank you.

Remember, it's about finding the right corps of guys")

Also, if you can, please post your relationship to Bill Parcells in under 3 degrees.

I'd also like to apply for the job.

2011 Fantasy Leagues

1 out of 12
1 out of 12
1 out of 8
1st Survivor League
1st out of 16
1st out of 10
CP league
1st out of 8,907

There's my resume. My auction strategy is to buy all the best players after everyone else has spent their money on the "Big name" losers.

Guess I gotta decide on a team name for this season. Archer-centric, of course.

Choices:

My Pet Ocelot

Germany - The Alabama of Europe

Chasing You All Rapey

Dick Sledge

"M" As In "Mancy"

That strategy was great 5 years ago when auctions were still pretty rare. That's the strategy everyone uses now, and the smart owners will get the best players for a steal because everyone is being too conservative.

There is no real strategy for an auction, and that's why it's the best draft format. You can go into it with a certain mindset, but be forced to do something completely different. It separates the men from the boys.

I hear ya. I filled an entire auction team last year for $30.

It's all about saving team money.

I've changed my team name.

It's now "Steve McNair's Shotgun Offense".

You don't need an invite. Just go to espn and click on the league page. It'll take you there.
