Oh, and the song Beautiful Pain, along with being a pretty good song already, has an Australian influence to it, so there's that.

The whole deluxe album has leaked obviously, I haven't listened to the whole thing but so far it's pretty good, and I think it is an album that will grow on you. Probably not an epic lp but a way better effort by him in a long long time.

I think he's at least on track to getting his personal life on track without so much drama and for a while he seemed to be really unstable, and some sort of delusional paranoia that any time he was in public he was really messed up in the head.

Probably a mixture of celebrity, substance abuse and any criticism while being in the spotlight and under constant scrutiny and his every move reported on did a number on him and was a total mind****.

He mentions on 1 of his new songs being born in Missouri (right outside KC) before moving to Michigan, but also he and his mom moved between Michigan and Missouri like 4 or 5 times growing up- didn't know that.

Also, not my favorite beat, but in terms of delivery and lyrics Rap God is ****ing impressive. Really amazing to deliver it without it coming out sounding like Shannon Sharpe tripping over his mouf.

It's amazing how much he gets into those few minutes there.

Also pretty impressive live. Especially the part towards the end where he does a whole verse in like 10 seconds.

I have heard a few of his songs. The kid has talent. A little more popish than Eminem but like I said very talented.

Stereogum did not like to say the least.

Quote:
Pity the noise music underground. Think of it: An entire global scene taking root and flowering over the course of decades, finding strongholds in unlikely urban centers, developing its own crusty-warehouse touring circuit. And now it’s an entire network of bands, labels, record stores, venues, festivals — all dedicated to the pursuit of creating the most fearsome, gut-clenching endurance-test sounds known to man. And it’s now obsolete. Noise music has failed. It’s lost the battle. Because no noise artist will ever create a musical moment as purely unpleasant as the sound of Eminem rapping in a Yoda voice over a “Time Of The Season” sample. It just can’t be done. Your Merzbows and your Whitehouses and your Wolf Eyeses can now slink meekly off into defeat. The world’s most popular rapper has done what they could never do. The dream is over.
