Daniel Sorenson

I just hope the kid makes the roster. He's flashed some good stuff, seems to be around the ball a lot and well , he's 6'2" 208 and pretty fast for his size.

Talk has it Tyler Bray may go to IR. What's up with that ? I would rather just cut Murray and move on.

Um, no, Lynch was actually a hard hitter and had great instincts. Sorensen's "hits" wouldn't harm a fly.

Keep spinning dipshit.

First, you, me, and everyone else, knows, from the hierarchy outlined by Hunt that all roster decisions, including the draft and these roster cuts are a staff effort which incudes both Dorsey and Reid, and that the actual final decisions lie with Dorsey.

But even if that were not true, you critizing Dorsey's talent evaluation, a man that has years in personnel, then critisizing others for what you try to sell as Reid's decisions, is hypocritical.

Everyone knows it.

None of us have the qualifications that either have.

I haven't seen a single scouting report that says that Sorensen is a soft hitter or even a poor tackler. I've seen most scouting reports specifically say he's a hard hitter and a sure tackler. That's based on live snaps over many, many games on the collegiate level in games that actually count.

Again, you are so obsessed with the preseason being some kind of predictor of what he is. If I'm worried about Sorensen, it's that he doesn't have elite speed or fluid hips. It's that he's relying on football smarts and seems to have some development to do there. Because that's a continuation of weaknesses we saw on the scouting report. Using a few preseason games to assume the guy is terrible at things he did very well in college? Let's not over-generalize.

t's a good thing we rely a lot more on the bigger picture to make these decisions than judging how a rookie reacts to being thrown into the fire right away. Knile Davis, Kelce, and Cooper were terrible this time last year.

And this is the comedy of CP.

I have never endorsed Sorensen. I said it's way too soon to know what he is.

I never endorsed Haley. I said he did some good things, some bad things, and got a raw deal (and that was proven to be the case on an extraordinary level).

But of course, the people who seem to be the most right are the ones who say Haley is 100% terrible and Sorensen is 100% dogshit because of a few preseason games.

I don't think Sorensen is anything special. But I also highly doubt he's nearly as bad as he played this preseason. I'm sorry if that really tiny endorsement is confused for ball sucking on Polarization Planet

But yeah, when talking about rookies, let's worry about what they can contribute RIGHT NOW.

We won't really know whether Sorensen will be greater than Bronson until the end of the season. Right now, Sorensen has to only be better than a bubble roster player by this time next season. I don't think it's that far out of reach to think he can do that.
So why does Sorensen get a pass as "he could be good one day!" while a guy like Vince Agnew didn't get that chance last year?

Both guys sucked ass their first time through preseason games. One gets a shot to improve, and the other just goes away. What makes Sorensen different from Vince Agnew?

And no, I'm not saying Vince Agnew should have been given a longterm shot to prove himself on the team. I'm saying that you HAVE to make that determination all the damn time if a rookie sucks or not.

You'd rather judge him on what he did vs college level talent vs what he has done vs NFL level talent? Sure, go ahead and be my guest, lol.

Because only NFL GM's and Coaches can say a player sucks. You aren't qualified, even if it's obvious...

Does Sorensen have assdiculous raw physical talent that just needs time and consistent coaching? No. Not at all.

Has Sorensen just not had that much time in college to really learn the game of football? No.

Did Sorensen come from a small FCS or Division II program and need more time than other rookies to overcome the huge jump to the NFL? No.

Is Sorensen's energy level and desire to be truly great any more exceptional than other rookies? Not really.

Does Sorensen have ANY unique qualities to his game that will ever make him anything more than JAG? No.

AND FINALLY... THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION OF ALL:

Does he suck right now? Yes.

That's Strike 6. He's out.
