I have no manners, I was farting my ass off after the procedure and the nurses were laughing at me telling me its music to their ears. they said some people hold it in and get serios gas pains lol not me, I think the curtain was blowing and sheets were moving.

Is this a regular check up thing people are supposed to do at some particular age? Like Mammograms for women, etc? My doctor has never mentioned this, but I usually only go to the doctor if I have something already wrong. Good luck, Hog Farmer.

I got one at 40 because of the Katie couric barrage at the time.definitely 50 should get one

That was how things were for me before I started crapping blood and found out I had cancer for years. If I had insisted on a colonoscopy when I was 42 or 43, they would have found a polyp and snipped it out and I wouldn't be going in for chemotherapy today at 11:15 am.

Sorry to hear that. Katie Courics husband Jay Monaghan died at like age 38 from colon cancer and thats why I had my first one in 2002 at 37 and back then they still did them in the hospital. I had another one last year and now they do them in clinics. in and out in no time.

Yeah, kinda. Been having some pain on my left side and some weird gurgling that goes straight up the left hand side of the abdomen. Two different doctors tell me it's just gas, there's nothing over there and I'm like ,well, for 51 years I never had this sensation. Doctor number 2 says ,your 52 ,time to get the butt probe.

Start eating yogurt or drinking kefir too. probiotics are your friends. it will put good bacteria into your gut and regulate your pooping.
