Every argument this guy has posed has been destroyed.

It's comical that he keeps coming back digging the hole deeper.

If you wanna talk about offensive line talent, I agree SF is loaded (in terms of run blocking, I think they're weaker in other aspects) but it's a top 3 unit in the league.

The reports that the draft was weak were true, but go look at all the guys we passed on to take Fisher and let Albert walk.

No excuses because ANY of those guys would have provided immediate impact at a position of need...not drafted to replace a probowl guy that we drafted.

If Cooks, Beckham or someone similar falls to them, watch out.
You are assuming he looks past his first read, which most of the time the last 2 years, he does not. And Crabtree and Boldin are better than good, as is Davis.

What's funny is we rip on Alex Smith in SF and say he was carried by a great team. Now we're arguing whether Kaepernick needs more talent. Get out of here with that garbage.

Liked the saints draft a lot too

Just to name a few.
Just funny on the niners board, there's often lots of talk about the Chiefs 2013 off-season acquisitions as having been better than theirs, grass is always greener...

Except none of those guys career has been played out just like Fisher.

Remember when we passed on BJ Raji and it was epic failure because he was a sure HOF player?

I said their entire offense not just their receivers.

What about that do you not get?

And don't give me the homer shit. Last year Dorsey was a damn good GM and it took us to the playoffs.

It's not being a homer to have faith in a GM that proved his worth last year.
The rest of this thread is moot.

Your very first post contains a perfect contradiction.

Pioli failures+big holes+available $$$+weak draft+veteran team ready for playoffs in first year.

You expected them to have this thing built through the draft in year one?

Go take a look at the numbers. When you compare a QBs percentage against the cap to their championships, the numbers don't lie.

If Smith gets $100M+, you can kiss a Super Bowl goodbye.

Nope.

I expected them to build through the draft and make the playoffs in their 2nd or 3rd year.

THEY changed the plan, not me.

THEY went out and acquired a bunch of 1st-week free agents and gave up two picks for Alex Smith.

THEY won 11 games and made it to playoffs.

THEY set the expectations, now they can't live up to them. Not my problem, it's theirs.
