Seems like both. They know they can beat the minnows, so the game slows down for them. They get too sped up against the better teams that are constantly pressuring them, forcing them to make quick decisions, usually bad ones. The players don't have time to get their heads up and make good, easy passes. The teams we beat don't pressure as much.

Confidence against bad teams means you can play really, really well. Confidence against good teams (like when we play Mexico) means you can play well, but sometimes win and sometimes lose. No confidence against good teams means you get crushed.

I don't understand what you are griping about here.

Time is about to run out and if Austria don't win, they are eliminated, so they are pushing forward with EVERYONE in an attempt to score. The keeper dumps it back into the opposing penalty area quickly because there's not time to work it back up the field in a normal fashion. Having everyone pressed forward leaves Austria vulnerable to a quick counter and they scored.

I don't see anything weird or awkward here.

Audi is beyond me though. I've literally never seen what Zusi offers to the team outside of a decent corner kick.
