Predicting Each Teams Most Difficult Roster Cuts
This is a pretty interesting article even if it is a lot of speculation.
Its a slide show so I cant copy it but here is a link. It shows the Chiefs difficult cut as A.J. Jenkins and guess who Houston's is? That's right Kendrick Lewis. There are some interesting names on the list. Terrance Cody appears to have reached full blown bust status. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...ult-roster-cut Let’s get this out of the way early. This is not one of these pieces where you want to be right. But we are willing to give it the old professional try. There are 32 teams in the NFL, and every one will be making difficult decisions in the next few weeks when it comes to personnel. But in this case of mirror, mirror on the wall, which move will prove to be the hardest of them all? For the record, we will not be afraid to take some chances here. Conversely, that could result in 32 swings and misses. We will certainly try not to opt for the easy way out by selecting a rookie free agent who has seen very little playing time to date. Remember, the title of the piece includes the word “difficult.” And it also includes the word “projecting.” So of course, there will be the occasional obvious exception. You will see your share of veterans in the next 32 slides, with some of our decisions being based on matters other than just performance, such as the inability to stay healthy. There may or may not be a few players who signed with teams this offseason or were one of the 256 players drafted in May who proved not to be the ideal fit (although the latter could still wind up on a team’s practice squad). In any case, here’s a little food for thought when it comes to each team having to say goodbye to a player. And kudos to those coaches and general managers who have the stomach to make such decisions. |

On Carter. He seems to easily lose confidence. Second. Cody, is jag. If you want a d linemen, Cleveland so going to have to cut some. If look there.

Doesn't have to be Cody, but we need a true Nose Tackle to put into our rotation. This Vance Walker at NT bullshit is not going to fly.

Kendrick Lewis needs to be in the Texans first group of cuts. He looked like Kendrick Lewis in their game against Zona.

I'm sure there'd be a lot of competitors for Cody's services if he were cut.
The only advantage for KC is that the coach would take him out for OK Joe's 3X a day. |

I just looked at Codys career stats. He's never been impressive at all, at DE or NT. 0 sacks for his career and only 87 combined tackles. Vace Walker has done that in the past 2 years pretty much.

There are actually a ton of guys on that list that I think could come in and compete for a backup spot.
EDIT: Actually, not really. Last edited by saphojunkie; 08-13-2014 at 01:57 PM.. |

That guy was supposed to be a badass. Never lived up to his hype out of college.
