FTR though, it's hard to win a NC with a freshman PG !

That's because Taylor is the oldest. Can Self reach him ? If not, give it to your most talented PG on the team and hope the cards fall just right.

To win a NC, you have to have everything click right and get lucky. There is no blueprint to winning it.

What I can tell you is that throwing Selby to the wolves (probably the team's worst guard over the last two months) isn't going to work.

#1. EJ is the most talented PG on the team, mostly because Selby isn't actually a PG (something that will plague him in the NBA if he ever gets there).

#2. Self isn't replacing their veteran guard that's been a major part of three successful teams for a freshman with 5 games left in the season. It's not happening.

KU really misses Robinson's energy. Once he is back everything will be ok.

They were the #1 team in the polls before tonight, they don't really have a problem anywhere. Don't overreact to one game.

And again, if you're looking for someone "to be a leader, to be cool and level headed, to slow things down, etc," Josh Selby is the last person on this team you should be looking for there.

TT's not getting benched for a freshman (that's struggled worse than TT, I should add) this late in the season based on a poor game. I don't even know why this is a discussion.

EJ was doing a great job earlier in the year, and i think if Self allows him to play through a mistake or two he might actually gain some confidence.

I'm a big fan of EJ as a PG going forward, but it's really too late for that this season I think.

Well unfortunately if Self sticks with TT, this won't be the last multiple turnover game loss we will have. I agree though Self definitely won't change horses this late in the game.

Don't see much reason to think it would be any different with EJ there. He makes his fair share of turnovers whenever he enters the game, too.

Turnovers weren't really this team's problem tonight, though. It was a complete lack of intensity...and Pullen.

The only good thing about last night's game is that at least they will play @ night in the Big 12 qtrs. They looked worse than I feel (I'm spending a 2nd day home with intestional/stomach flu).
