Self better get Josh in tip top PG shape, we will not win the NC with Taylor on the point playing most of the minutes. FTR, I just don't see Josh getting to that point with just a few games left in conference.

I would start him ( Josh Selby ) and make him play most of the minutes just to be ready for the Big Dance.

Worth asking. It's tough to gauge in a game like this though. Nothing looked good tonight, particularly the biggest part of our team, the Morrises. I really hope he can contribute. His talent is there. His intensity is there (IMO, the difference between him and X). I just hope he can fit in.

As much as I hate to lose, I'm glad this game happened. Seriously, stay with me here....

1). Our defense has been slacking of late, but the fact we let a PG go off like this means we need to get this fixed for the tourney. Credit Martin for letting Pullen control the game.

2). This loss let's our players know that a team ( any team ) that is hungry can come up and bite us in the butt. No more crap , just shut up and play team ball and leave the thug attitude somewhere else. I'm kinda fed up with the twins attitude, just play ball.

3). Taylor exposed himself even deeper tonight, Self needs to throw Selby out there and ride him as far as we can, this green freshman needs the playing time.

4). Not having a serious team leader is damaging when he is not your PG. ( Ref.# 3 Hello, It's Selby Time )After Thomas Robinson, we don't have that 4th Big Man like some years past.

5). When things go bad, we need to slow it down, work the ball longer on offensive sets, pound it inside, get better looks, shots,etc. Limit the turnovers!

Selby isn't the answer at PG. He averages 3 turnovers a game as an off-guard. If you thought Tyshawn was bad in that way, he'd be even worse.

I think losing to MU in columbia would help KU too

Tyshawn, by the way, played very well in his last two games. This is just the same recurring inconsistency issue that has plagued him his entire career. It's probably too late to hand the reins to EJ, and I'm not sure he would even be better as he's prone to stupid mistakes as well.

TT is not our answer at PG. At least give Josh a chance the rest of the season. He has missed a lot of games and needs playing time.

FTR though, it's hard to win a NC with a freshman PG !
