If we had a receiver catch three TD's in one game he would be in the ring of honor on the stadium. Holy crap our receivers suck balls.

I can agree with a lot of this...but I think Bowe would be a starter for them on the outside with Sanders manning the slot and Welker being WR4. I don't think there is a role for Welker now watching Sanders. Wouldn't be surprised to see his playing time drastically reduced. I mean, I'm sure he'll still see a lot of snaps but I don't think he's going to be a focal point...I think Sanders is their guy this year.

There is a reason for that, we have had shitty quarterbacks. If the Chiefs ever get a Drew Bree's or a Payton Manning type. The WR core through history would be amazing. 95 percent of all good to great WR's have had really good quarterbacks.

That's part of it, but I'm sorry, we also have shitty receivers.

Agreed on Sanders, I said as much in the Welker thread. Not so sure about Bowe. He'd have to step his ethic up to be a Manning guy and I can't think of who he'd beat out in the current line up.

[QUOTE=BigMeatballDave;10891804]Rare talent? No. Very good WR? Sure.

Thomas was very average before brokeneck arrived.[/

Obviously you are very familiar with his career. How many years into his career was he, and with what QBs? (I will provide a hint: other than his rookie year, he had played in a veer option offense).
