I've been an advocate of building this franchise through the draft since joining this forum in 2000. I've disagreed with nearly every trade and every free agent signing and have publicly stated as much.

I've seen model franchises like Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, San Diego, Indianapolis, New England and the New York Giants build through the draft and keep a consistent winner on the field nearly each and every year.

My opinions and views are certainly not something new.

I hope the Chiefs are more active than you would be. Bring in some 2nd and 3rd tier guys. Someone like Jason Brown, who you have advocated. I'm tired of losing and it won't take much to content in the AFC West.
