first off you said you answered the question SEVERAL times, yet after june 1st is when you said you were "betting that's the chiefs schedule" and you only typed that once in the thread.

and it wasn't even directed at my question.

JFC you are stupid.

Well I gave u my answer again and you wont let it go. If u remember, I also said my main point was for the Chiefs to do it on THEIR schedule, not the player's. I also said they need to be careful because this is a new front office and a precedent will be set for future negotiations. I said that the contract process has been collectively bargained and Houston should let the process play out. You took that to mean that I meant for them to let Houston's contract expire first, which was not the case, and went on the offensive. I specifically stated that if they couldn't get an extension worked out, they would tag him. To which you also took offense. In any case, I've been pretty clear the whole way. So time for me to move on. You think what you want.

and again, we have our qb and our young stud olb both entering the last years of their contract and only have one franchise tag.

im not one that wants to get into the season with either in that position, BUT imo we HAVE to get a deal done with at least one or we take the high chance of losing one.

somehow you fail to realize the significance of that

I can stomach losing Flowers, but losing Houston would be completely unacceptable.

Yep. So the question is....

Since we know that Dorsey drafted Fisher because Albert was leaving. Did he draft Ford because Houston is on his way out?

Yeah, it has nothing to do with the 30+ year old with a big contract and declining skills.

Pretty good sign of character IMO, Alex Smith is at all the workouts and he's going into the last year of his deal. Neither Houston or Smith are being a big bitch like Vernon Davis, but I'm a little annoyed about Houston not being more of a team player. He's probably saying to himself that he can get in football shape on his own time but so many injuries have proven otherwise. I hope he doesn't come in late and miss valuable time that he needs for his body and his technique.
