Justin Houston holding out?

I heard he isn't showing up for otas

Tribal Warfare 05-27-2014 05:57 PM

Look at the "Official OTA" thread it's being discussed there dude

TimBone 05-27-2014 05:57 PM

Very early into the offseason I asked if there was a chance of this happening. I got called "****ing stupid" or something similar to that.

YOur choice to be a player

TEX 05-27-2014 05:59 PM

**** him if he is! J.J. Watt is still on his rookie deal too. Is he holding out? Nope! Speaks volumes. The whole rookie contract pay-structure was collectively bargained. Houston should it them. He'll get a raise based on his play when it was time - He's on the Chiefs radar. No need to hold out.

Yeah but jj watt is also considerably higher contract.

Right here, SNR was discussing this in the OTA thread. Hence, the exclamatory remark.

JJ Watt is also a significantly better player. Houston needs to show me more consistency against top competition instead of just abusing rookie OTs (7.5 of his sacks last year came against Lane Johnson and Luke Joeckle). Watt is a dominant force against anyone and everyone.

Watt is arguably a top 5 overall player in the league as of right now.

Your panties. Their in a twist.

Sannyasi 05-27-2014 06:20 PM

We need to replace him with a more humble, blue collar, meat and potatoes kind of guy.

In58men 05-27-2014 06:21 PM

People get so pissed when players hold out. You can't just say "oh **** him let him go". Houston is a ****ing monster, you just can't let talent like Houston go so easily or we will be rebuilding for years. Pay the ****ing man.
