As the Capt I would of booted his ass right there and claimed that we were fearful for our crew and aircraft. I would of labeled him a potential terrorist and held up the flight until the FAA was notified and FAA air marshals were on scene. I would of used that avenue to label him permanently and let the FAA put him on the "Do Not Fly" list... I would of seen how he liked that.

No it won't because there is no way United will let it get that far. They don't want the extra bad PR a trial would bring. The lawyers will come up with a number everyone can live with and it will go away.

No, to me and most other normal people (you know, non-Bronco fans), a beating means an intent to harm.

I don't think there was any intent to bloody this guy's nose and mouth. Yeah, they used excessive force which caused the dude to smack his face on the armrest, but in no way is this a beating.

I'm sure you'll disagree with me and it's really not worth putting anymore effort into, so I'll leave it at that.

Broken teeth and a broken nose is harm, please review UA's global citizenship and CSR initiatives and realize their behavior is in opposition to that policy.

UA CEO calls the men who removed the passenger "law enforcement."

United CEO Oscar Munoz says the airline won't allow law enforcement officers to haul seated paying passengers off its flights again.

"We are not going to put a law enforcement official to take them off," Munoz told ABC's "Good Morning America" on Wednesday. "To remove a booked, paid, seated passenger -- we can't do that."

Just saw an article on Yahoo that now United is refunding every passenger on the plane. Think they wish they'd have just offered a higher amount to get actual volunteers?

he was only bumped (actually downgraded) because the plane physically had less seats in first class than were booked. That's pretty rare, they normally don't overbook first class.
