Almost every thread on here turns into or had posts that the NFL is rigged. Its wrestling. Pre-ordered outcomes are being dictated from the NFL office to teams.

Lets see how many of us publicly believe the NFL is rigged. Vote on your definition of what is "rigged", what constitutes altering outcomes on purpose etc.

I believe the referees can, and do, nudge games a certain way. So I went with "maybe".

I do not believe that PMII, Reid, Kelce, and whoever else has been accused, purposefully threw the Bengals game. I don't buy it.

This is where I'm at. I voted no, but the fact that billions upon billions of dollars change hands every game of every season keeps my mind open to the possibility that it could be "rigged" in some way shape or form. The Super Bowl is one game. In the unlikely event the game was thrown, it would've been Bill Callahan's doing, not the league office.

Pretty astounding the level of cognitive dissonance involved when two of the greatest players who ever played the sport as well as the man who personally benefited from the corruption (Dwight Smith) can all tell you a game was rigged, and fans will still try to say it's not possible for it to be rigged.

It's actually kind of amazing from a psychological perspective.

Who said it isn't possible?

Any one game being thrown (if that is even the case) is not proof that every game is rigged.

Bengals/Chiefs 2022 (mahomes/spags)

The math is astounding, made impossible by changing QBs and DCs - but we get the same results.

In ALL 3 games. The Chiefs roar out to a blazing lead and look unstoppable.

Then, the offense goes cold.
NOT running the ball...but firing incomplete passes. This is important because it keeps time on the clock.
Opponent starts coming back
Opponent makes crazy plays
Chiefs have to furiously scramble at the end to tie or win but fall just short.

We've seen it before.
