Poll: Is the NFL rigged?
 

Almost every thread on here turns into or had posts that the NFL is rigged. Its wrestling. Pre-ordered outcomes are being dictated from the NFL office to teams.

Lets see how many of us publicly believe the NFL is rigged. Vote on your definition of what is "rigged", what constitutes altering outcomes on purpose etc.

You bet we do. The Planet is turning into a NFL is rigged forum. If that's what the majority wants, cool.

There is no attempt to contain it at all so by that non-action its a good assumption that's what the majority of the posters think and believe. So lets see.

Depends on how you define rigged.

Do I think the Colts sucked for Luck? Yes.

I don't think good teams or playoff teams lose on purpose or shave points, etc.

Attempting to define what's "rigged" to everyone is a rabbit hole. Its an opinion poll. So its your opinion what's "rigged".

Big difference for these losing teams vying for draft position to lose more. They were expected to lose anyway. We has posters on here advocating during our 2-14 season to keep losing so we get the #1 pick. that's a strategy to make your team better.

I said maybe only because of Superbowl XXX and Neil O'Donnell's TWO highly suspicious interceptions. They were obvious gift interceptions that turned the game and made Larry Brown a 3rd rate CB the SB MVP. I do believe occasionally Las Vegas and the Mob can get to a player/coach/referee to maybe not win/lose but at least effect the spread.

Steered / slanted on occasion? Yes.

This is where I land as well. I went with "maybe" on the poll because of this and because I've learned over my years of interacting with people who had some serious coin, that you never rule anything out when large sums of money are possibly involved. Anything.
