*** Official MVP watch thread***

I think Mahomes is now in the drivers seat for MVP. Wilson opened the week as the favorite but after two more interceptions and a loss Mahomes will likely move in front on the odds.

Rodgers and Brady are also clearly in the conversation. Not sure anyone else is really in play for it at this point. I know Wilson has been the sympathy pick but with all of his turnovers this thing is definitely now Mahomes award to lose.

Like most I think it’s Rodgers, Wilson and Mahomes leading the pack.

I remember the year Mahomes won the MVP. Everyone thought that Brees would get it due to a high completion percentage as well as never having won it. The never won it argument is ridiculous. If Wilson slings 50+ TDs its going to be tough to beat him due to numbers. If not watch out for Mahomes, especially if he throws close to 5,000 yards with close to 50 TDs, especially with his insanely low number of INTs.

Nope and definitely not. Brady is trash and being propped up by the talent around him.

Mahomes is the best player in the league. The only reason not to give the MVP to him would be similar to the reasons people find not to give LeBron the MVP every year in a league that he has been the best player for 15 years.

IMO, right now its

Mahomes
Rodgers
Wilson

in that order, Wilson took a hit. He's having a great season, but in reality Mahomes is better.

I can't really figure out our D or our running game. Jekyll and Hyde shit.
Is it? Other than some coverage breakdowns against the Raiders, the pass D has been good all year. And the run D has been consistently bad. However, we usually have early leads and teams abandon the run. When they're able to go into ball control mode, it can get ugly.

Hopefully it won't matter, like last year.

7 turnovers the last two weeks for Wilson.

Mahomes should definitely move ahead of him.
