We probably should have at least done it on the 2nd last kick last night. Worst case scenario was just giving them a shorter field to score their touchdown and holding them to a FG would have led to a 6 point game.

If you kick it off you are still in the exact same situation of having to stop them in 3 or less first downs and get the ball back. Difference being a FG might win it or tie it instead of needing a touchdown. 1. Chance of getting onside kick OR defense gets a stop plus your offense being able to score a TD Advantages- 2 different ways to get ball back. Via onside kick or stopping them. Disadvantages- Now need a TD or need a FG in poor field position vs. 2. Chance of defense getting a stop and your defense gets a FG Advantages- Possibly a shorter field and only need a FG Disadvantage- Take away onside kick possibility and need your defense to step up Would be interested in finding % of each situation occurring and seeing what the odds really are. Especially if we could compare the %'s of poor defenses specifically. Especially if you are down 4 points, I think option 1 is best since you need a TD anyway. With a normal defense option 2 might be best but with the offense and defense we have, having the additional chance of getting an onside kick attempt might be worth it if the risk is just having to ask you offense to do more when they get the ball back. |

Reid was calling 3 run plays in a row, when we are down on the road. Put the ball in your MVP’s hands and let him win the game.

Until we lose in the playoffs, we have a chance. Mahomes isn’t doing as well as of late, and that is a bit concerning, but so much blame is on the D right now. Broken tackles are killing us the last three weeks. More than the whole season of horrible D play.
Bottom line, we’re still on the driver’s seat for the playoffs. HFA or not. We probably could loose to Oakland next week and still get a bye. This is huge. Does it suck to almost loose to the ravens, loose to the chargers and now loose to the seahags? Absolutely!!!!!! But it’s not over by a long shot! The whole “this is the same old Chiefs” is stupid, it’s a new team, not hitting on all cylinders right now, and that sucks, but it’s not the same “old chiefs” theme. IF we keep loosing this year, we still have a very bright future with PMII, and that is wonderful for us Chiefs fans |

Coach Reid should have handed this game over to his QB in the 4th. He didn't.
Coach did not play to win. I feel like my cat died. I'm more disappointed in myself at this point. The whole thing is bullshit. |

Andy treated this game like preseason.
He wanted to see what Williams could do in the first half. We only threw it what, 12 times? Young corners starting (when they were capable of playing) and Berry being held out the last series. Really don't think Andy wanted to go full-blast tonight. |
