Colonoscopy Wednesday morning
Any suggestions ? I've got my colon blast prepped .

Dr. Told me she is a huge 49ers fan. I told her thanks for the QB, how'd your year go.

Was that a bad idea ?

Yep same here, they had two choices of various formulas, one of which was orange flavor and you didn't have to drink nearly as much of it. I wouldn't recommend it for a Friday night cocktail, but it wasn't bad and definitely did the trick. The procedure itself was no big deal because they knock you out.

The prep sucks but the actual procedure is quick. They had me so drugged up. I had a friend pick me up and drop me off at home. I must have still been a little hazy because I suddenly became aware of my surroundings and I am like "what am I doing in the yard? And why is my butthole itchy?"

I have no manners, I was farting my ass off after the procedure and the nurses were laughing at me telling me its music to their ears. they said some people hold it in and get serios gas pains lol not me, I think the curtain was blowing and sheets were moving.

Is this a regular check up thing people are supposed to do at some particular age? Like Mammograms for women, etc? My doctor has never mentioned this, but I usually only go to the doctor if I have something already wrong. Good luck, Hog Farmer.

I got one at 40 because of the Katie couric barrage at the time.definitely 50 should get one

That was how things were for me before I started crapping blood and found out I had cancer for years. If I had insisted on a colonoscopy when I was 42 or 43, they would have found a polyp and snipped it out and I wouldn't be going in for chemotherapy today at 11:15 am.
