Who will be the QB to break Mannings TD record?
Brady, Brees seem too old? Luck maybe? Or maybe he hasn't been drafted yet?
Who will it be? http://m.pfref.com/m?p=XXleadersXXpass_td_career.htm |

Luck started producing early enough. Rodgers lost time on the bench. Brees lost time to injury/bad teams.
Brady is done. |

Fair enough, gut feeling is nothing to be discounted. I'm on a two night roll so could be misunderstanding. But from my perspective (get that it's not yours) that offense was fun to watch last night...

Luck has the best chance of anyone currently playing, but I kind of doubt he gets there. My guess is the record will stand for a decade or more.

Luck and cam newton are the only ones that have a shot imo. Both play way too reckless now to have that kind of longevity. But both are special pocket passers. Carolina needs to get cam some weapons though

This is gonna be a record that stands for a very long time. He's gonna get to 600, maybe 620.

Defren Freibel, drafted out of the University of Tatooine by the Bespin Rebels. He/she/it will break the record on November 11th, 2076.

I can't wait for it to be over. And I hope no one ever comes close to breaking it, because when he is finally off my tv, I want him gone for good. I really do love watching excellence in football. I loved watching Favre. I sometimes like watching Brady at his best, and I so far enjoy watching Luck, though it is an abomination that he ended up in Indy. That being said, I have never enjoyed watching Manning except when his face mask is full of turf, and that never happens any more. I have never seen one person so talented, skilled, and in this league, privileged, who complains more. It is almost NBA level bitching and moaning all game long whenever things don't go exactly his way. There have been several must watch talents in the NFL in my lifetime, and even if I haven't enjoyed their teams, I have generally appreciated the exhibition of talent. I look forward to the next one, Luck perhaps, or a name unknown as of yet. Until then, may this just end soon.
I just close my eyes and think of Broncos I have liked (shockingly there are a few) like Ed McCaffrey. He was crazy. I loved that guy. |

Manning doesn't get touched. I know the wishful Chiefs fans among us like to think he'll just fold up if they win a SB this year; but I don't see it. He's playing as good as he ever has and will probably just hang out and be a 40 year old robot for Denver. I fully expect the Fivehead to be slinging the rock for two more seasons after this one, regardless of what Denver does in the playoffs.
I'd imagine he's of the same mindset as Brady and will give it up when he thinks he sucks. I don't see that happening anytime soon, unless I take a drink of the homer-aid. He'll probably get to 600+ like Hootie said and this record will be untouchable for some time. |

If the stars align and Denver won the SB, it would be hard to imagine a return.

Kind of like Joe Montana said near the end of his career: "I know that it's almost over. The only way I can have people understand it is to pick something that you really enjoy in your life right now and, all of a sudden, you have someone come up to you and say, 'You're not allowed to have it or do it for the rest of your life.' I think that puts it a little more into perspective. You want to make it last as long as you can." |

Every contender outside of Luck is way too old to do it, except maybe Rodgers.
