If you're spending that kind of jack you might as well have some Asics, Brooks, or Mizuno.

Still haven't seen any mention of Saucony. Guess that's because their quality is way down. I have a pair now that I am really wishing I had never purchased. They used to be top of the line.

Brooks or an upper end Mizuno. Nikes are shit unless they're cross-trainers, baseball or basketball shoes.

If you're going to be doing a lot of running, you really need to go to a running store and get fitted. Getting the right kind of shoe for your natural biomechanics is pretty important if you want to avoid injury.
If they're more of a cross-training shoe and you're occasionally jogging, it's less of a deal. In the last 3 or 4 years I've probably owned about 8 pairs of Brooks Adrenaline's. Great shoes. I've tried Asics, they seem to be good quality, but they weren't for me. I had a pair of Saucony Kinvara Progrid's that I really liked. They seemed to wear pretty quickly, but that can be understood since they're sorta "minimalist". Currently rocking some Newton's, and I LOVE them: |
