At least he got Fisher, and not Joeckel, so he got that going. But hindsight, he could had gotten Lane Johnson or Ansah.

Yeah..Dorsey really sucked.
The Browns gave up a league-worst 102.3 passer rating to opposing quarterbacks in 2017...might as well get another pass rusher. Last edited by BlackOp; 04-26-2018 at 10:30 PM.. |

Meh. They needed to draft a QB no matter what, and it's hard to get excited about anyone they passed on.
The Browns fans I know are super pissed off about drafting Ward. I don't know. I always appreciated that Dorsey will take risks on high position value players. They'll probably kick themselves over Chubb, but the Browns are actually good at DE. They're awful at CB and Gregg Williams made it very clear that he thinks his CBs sucked last year. Ward at worst could be a very good slot corner. Wouldn't surprise me if Gregg Williams really wanted this one. |

I don't have any hate for Dorsey and appreciate what he did for the Chiefs.
But today certainly seems a bit questionable for him. |

"Gregg Williams mentions that he's been forced to play zone this year more than ever - [saying] "you can figure out the reasons for that."" That is probably why he went with Ward at #4. Garrett and Ogbah, on the other hand... actually a very good 1-2 punch at DE. |

Even though Mayfield can be a dick, I think he will be an effective starter in the NFL. Every qb prospect in this class has warts. Dorsey did no wrong with the #1 pick, but Ward at #4 is a bit odd considering Chubb was there for the taking.
The difference between Ward and a corner you can get at the top of the 2nd is not huge. You won’t find another pass rusher like Chubb in this entire draft however, and that’s why the selection is puzzling. |

The start of Dorsey's tenure in Cleveland is every bit as bad as Pioli's was here from a personnel perspective, and arguably worse. He's a complete hack and will be fired in three years.

The only reason Baker was selected is due to his improvisation, accuracy, and attitude. He's not Brett Favre, no matter how many people want to try to shove that comparison down our throats. I feel infinitely better about Mahomes than this draft class of QB's.
