Article does not change anything. We all know he does a lot for his community. I don't think anyone here has ever complained about how Marcus Peters behaves off the field. It's his on the sidelines thuggish acts that are getting old fast. You can say he is highly competitive and wants to win all you want but that can't excuse all his actions. Justin Houston isn't there to stop him going at Sutton who knows how that situation ends.

Also, lets cut the crap, face it, this guy would love to be an Oakland Raider.. It's always 'Oakland this Oakland that,' when I read stories about him. Not that I am blame him it is where he is from and he loves his hometown. Just saying...

Wonder if he will still look to sign with them when they move to Vegas? Either way I hope he keeps his composure from here on out because he is a good CB.

Dude, this is a "puff piece"probably instigated by his agent to Paylor. If you have not noticed lately many KC fans our souring on Peters regardless of his play which btw is deteriorating as well and his agent and Paylor recognize it. But even more importantly his agent is smart to get the ball rolling now on this new and improved MP and why he does the things that he does as he actually starts Marcus's exodus from KC and his agent knows their are some serious repairs in store IF they are to get the big $$.

You threw a hissy fit because he was with Lynch after the Raiders game.

I didn't throw a hissy fit. I didn't like it and posted about it. Not once did I say the guy should be benched, cut or traded. Some of you guys overreact to my posts because I am not posting what you want me to post. Get over it.

Regardless, good point.. What I meant is he has never been in trouble off the field and Chiefs fans know that...

Interesting that his twitter page has him in his college uniform and not the Chiefs and he also posted a video of him and the thug Marshawn.. Along with a tweet of a picture of athletes kneeling during the anthem.

But, you are not complaining about what he does off the field, correct?

you realize the "thug" is his cousin, right?

good lord, all you guys who were sucking his cock last year are so butthurt about the kneeling you just rail on everything. yeah, he hasn't been as good in coverage this year so far, but that happens. Teams have a lot more film to scheme against him now.

He's a good player... I don't have many complainants there. I wish he would shadow #1 WRs but that is Sutton's call not his.

Yeah I know it is his cousin.
Edit: After doing some research, they are NOT actually blood relatives. It's an Oakland thing.. They were roommates so Lynch mentored him and they became good friends but they are not related. So ppl can stop with this 'they are relatives' crap... It's BS..

Peters simply is a Oakland Raider playing in a Chief uniform because he has to. His loyalty is to Oakland

His experience growing up and living in America is probably different from yours. After living in an neighborhood thats 80% black for the last 5 years, that had a full blown race riot in recent history, I'm evidently a lot more understanding of where what people are calling "thug"behavior is coming from than some on here.

We as a society do not expect our talented NFL players to behave as respected, upstanding citizens like our religious or political leaders. Some on here have a high bar for Peters to clear thats not there for others.

If you havent walked a mile in their shoes, maybe people shouldn't be so judgemental?

I don't really care if he is a thug.. Plenty of thugs in the NFL who I respect. Peters is a selfish nutcase... Big difference.

He didn't quit the team at Washington. Despite his talent, he got thrown off the team because he was a tantrum-throwing moron (13 on the Wonderlic test) who was constantly fighting with his coaches.
