Alex will play lights out today, he rises to the occasion. Always has in the playoffs. I was at his first that he lost against the Giants. The numbers don't look great but he made huge throws an had that game won in the worst weather I have ever been in at a football game. He's gonna ball out!!

You have to give Alex credit for defense. If you had a quarterback who was as aggresive as people around here want,at the end of the day you would have to pay those recievers for putting up big numbers. Alex Smith has proven he doesnt need elite weapons to win. Doesnt need an elite Oline to win,maybe not even Jamal Charles who we all love. All those things say Chiefs should have more money into the defense. So basically all of your concerns about Alex shouldnt even be worries. As we wouldnt need Alex to win a bunch of shootouts or be aggresive. His style of play is actually perfect for a franchise when you think of how superbowls are typically won,which is defense. I could give a damn about a high powered offense,the Vermeil era was fun,but ill take this new vision.
