****OFFICIAL 2013-2014 Fantasy Football Repository Thread****

Let me preface this by saying I'm an idiot. Originally posted this thread in the wrong forum.

So, let's try this again.

This is a thread to tide us FFL'ers until the start of the season.

I've been talking to a bunch of guys lately re: fantasy football. I can't wait.

If you're a hater and don't get or enjoy FF then you can suck a bag of dicks.

How many leagues are you in? What are the buy-ins?

Old Dog you going to Vegas again?

See above. I like Lacey though. Until the Chiefs interior O-line gets fixed Charles will only be effective out of the backfield/slot/WR positions which is good that he can play that many positions for your sake.

Williams- will definitely get the touches but he is injury prone and plays for Carolina and a waaay overrated QB that is not a leader. He might blow it up but I wouldn't be holding my breath.

Smith - I like how he runs but AZ still has O-line issues especially now that Cooper is done. Their line isn't going to be pushing anybody around just like our Chiefs.

Rest of your team looks real good !!

I hope some team picks up Dwyer quick. Him being unemployed kills my RB depth.

Martin, Matthews, Bell, Ivory, Dwyer.

From having four starters took two. Brutal.

Really hoping Cobb and Cruz aren't too hurt. I was pretty stoked Martin and Brees fell to me.
I ended up trading TE Finley for RB Mendenhall, maybe you can swing a trade. A backup TE isnt hard to come by.

I think Cobb is a bit of an overvalued player, might be worth swapping for a good RB (is MJD too much of a stretch?). Of course PPR makes a difference.

I think I might play it by ear. I don't like trading before the season even starts.

And why do you not like Cobb? I like him a lot, especially with no real running game and no more Jennings.

I dont dislike him, just think he is a bit overvalued. Personally, Im always afraid that guys on a team with a plethora of weapons are too susceptible to up-and-down weeks.

Cobb is still a good fantasy WR, but gotta give up something to get something (assuming you even want to make a trade, which doesnt sound like you do).

To be honest -- I don't like trading at all. Well, I mean offering trades. I'm terrible at that.

If Matthews can sustain any sort of consistency and Cruz/Cobb both come back 100% I really like my team.

I might hold onto Dwyer because some thin RB team will snag him up.

Got the 12th pick in a 12 man league.

Calvin Johnson fell to me, and I got Marshawn Lynch. Not bad for 12th pick.

I waited on QBs forever and got cock blocked by the guy right in front of me who chose Luck and Stafford back to back picks, so I ended up with Rivers and Josh Freeman.

League has a flex that is W/R/T

My team:

QB - Josh Freeman
QB - Philip Rivers
RB - Marshawn Lynch
RB - Ryan Mathews
RB - Mark Ingram
RB - Fred Jackson
WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - Roddy White
WR - Miles Austin
WR - Ryan Broyles
WR - Mohamed Sanu
WR - Brian Hartline
TE - Jimmy Graham
TE - Jason Witten
DST - San Francisco
K - Mike Nugent

That's pretty good I think for a 12 team league and the 12th pick. Not wild about your QBs but you had to take what you could get right? I'm guessing you didn't get a QB with the 12th or 13th pick and then had to wait forever before it came back around to you, leaving you with limited options at QB? Either way, it's not bad. Rivers could easily put up big numbers again.

I just had my draft. 10 man league, 1 QB, 2 RB, 4 WR/TE, 1 Flex (QB,RB, or WR/TE...usually a QB because we score 6 for TDs for them), 1 kicker, defense. I like what I ended up with a lot. I had the 10th pick.

QB: Michael Vick, Ben Rapelisberger, EJ Manuel
RB: Jamaal Charles, DeMarco Murray, Darren Sproles, Fred Jackson
WR/TE: Roddy White, Marques Colston, James Jones, Dwayne Bowe, Jacoby Jones, Antonio Gates, Justin Blackmon, Julian Edelman
K: Robbie Gould
Defense: Pittsburgh, Kansas City

We have 16 rounds and everyone else had 1 QB at least and people were choosing there 2nd QBs, so I used consecutive picks to get the two QBs in the 13th and 14th rounds.

Well you ended up ok with QBs anyway and got a sick group of WRs and TEs. Pretty good at RB as well.

Getting Calvin, Jimmy and Marshawn was nice. You shouldn't have waited that long for a QB though, you probably cost yourself a chance to win the league with that decision tbh. Rivers/Freeman in a year that's so deep at QB was a pretty big error IMO.

Guy with pick 11 took Luck as the draft was going back towards pick 1. At that point I was the only person without a QB. As it was coming back I thought for sure I would get Stafford, but guy with pick 11 took him. At this point all that was left for QBs sucked and I just kept choosing position players.

I got like 5 of the top 28 ranked players in the league. I'm pretty happy. At pick 12 I got the #6 and 8 ranked players (Johnson and Lynch).

That's a very strong team for 12 teams. Solid draft, TBG.
