Geno Smith vs Alex Smith - It's on.
It's on now. Geno Smith is probably going to be starting for the Jets this season.

Alex Smith will be the Chiefs QB for the forseeable future. If he's a success, we'll probably get five good years out of him.

So who's gonna win more NFL games over that time period?

He's not putting up elite numbers. I'd be surprised if he puts up 4100 yards and 27 touchdowns.

He's a very good QB, but I don't think he'll ever be "elite". In my mind, elite is top 5. I don't think Flacco in his career will ever be a top 5 QB.

I don't think he's elite, but he's definitely a franchise qb that has the ability to play at an elite level

In today's nfl, IMO, you don't necessarily have to have an elite qb to win SBs like it once was. The gap between the elite and the good, isn't as big as it once was, and said "good" players have the ability to play at an elite level.
