Chiefs trade (Arenas) for...wait for it...a FB?
Chiefs acquired FB Anthony Sherman from the Chiefs...er Cardinals.
New Cards head coach Bruce Arians has no room for plodding fullbacks in his aggressive, vertical offense. So Sherman heads to Andy Reid's West Coast scheme as Jamaal Charles' lead blocker. The 2011 fifth-rounder graded out 20th among 25 qualifying fullbacks in Pro Football Focus' rankings last season. May 1 - 12:11 PM

It does seem at this point that Dunta is the nickel.

Which really is the worst part of this trade...signing Dunta and Sean Smith to shore up your CBs is dubious.

I'm not saying Javier Arenas is good but there is no doubt in my mind come training camp he could beat out Dunta Robinson at any CB spot. Especially the nickel. They basically shipped camp competition away to gift their own FA a free spot for snaps on the team just because they are paying him more money.

Not because he's actually any ****ing good. There is now no competition to Dunta Robinson and he is guaranteed to see the field on Sundays. Meaning he will be beat like a drum and when this place blows up with threads calling for his head, THERE WONT BE ANYONE LEFT TO ****ING REPLACE HIM ON THE ROSTER.

So we are stuck sinking or swimming on the hope chance Dunta Robinson has a good year lol
