What a horrible head scratching kind of draft

Fisher is a good pick...so is Nico Johnson somewhat as it at least addresses a hole. Everything else is a god damn head scratcher. Knile butterfingers Davis? Cmon....a TE that early? What the hell is going on?

Andy is building it the way he knows how to win.

All you gotta do is look at our roster and what he did in Philly. I got 5 of the 8 positions correct before they were drafted.

If Fisher works out we'll be getting rid of him in four or five years.

Competent coaching, showed alex to be competent. He has competent coaching here. I would expect the same results......
A ball control QB doesn't win Super Bowls in this era of NFL football, which is why your coach benched him for a rookie.

So if Alex Smith is Trent Green or even less because I think we can agree this D is much better than that D. We should be good.

Maybe that's why he is still a Chief. He thinks enough of him not to just give him away. Or maybe he is laying awake at night thinking of the options with him in this lineup.

You were given 2 before it even started... OT and ILB.

And so is Dorsey.

Dorsey was part of a team that had some of the best draft successes. Meaning he's got a pretty good eye for talent. I think Green Bay was 7th on the list of best drafts in the last few years where KC was 30th? Granted, Ted Thompson had the last word, but Dorsey had a strong voice. I find it funny people think they're smarter than him even though his work hasn't even played a game yet.

This draft wasn't sexy, that we know of....

The only thing I would've done is take Davis later, I think he'd have lasted another round, and taken a WR in that area.

I concur. The night after felt like Major League and I was Randy Quaid. After digesting for two days, I feel pretty decent about the draft (including the udfa's). My logic is this, I'm no scout. If my teams draft seems to follow Kipers board.....I get worried.

P.s. and if all else fails, I was relocated to München and FC Bayern is kicking some serious Tail. So I have that as a distraction

The draft is always a disappointment to the folks who don't see the 6 college players they have heard of on their teams list.

I find this draft disappointing because we picked Eric Fisher without dealing Albert and I dont think we need a RB, especially one who's always injured and fumbles, a FB, a C, or the first Princeton player to be drafted in 12 years when there were guys like Da'Rick Rogers falling because of character concerns... its the 7th round with one of the more talented WRs still on the board... come on!

EDIT: Oh... and we traded pick #34 for Alex Smith.

Aside from the Kniles Davis pick, this draft doesn't seem to be so bad.

We got a dominant elite caliber LT prospect for the next decade.

Kelce was rated as the best blocking TE in the draft along with Dion Sims, but last year put him on the map as an a really good receiver. Also tied for the fastest TE in the draft. I'm shocked he wasn't picked in the 2nd round. Maybe because of his past problems.

Nico Johnson is a thumper that will start day 1 and Commings is going to take Kendrick Lewis' job.

Nobody on this board knew anything about Kush or Capano, but just looking at them last night, they are blue collar guys who might provide decent depth.

I think Dorsey viewed Braden Wilson as this teams John Kuhn, which would be great if it worked out.

We'll see how it turns out. I think we got 3 starters, possibly 4 if Kelce beats out Fasano. Either way he's gonna play a lot of snaps.
