Guitar Center Sessions
I discovered this show a few months ago on Audience Network on Directv. They have an artist play songs and interview them. The interviews are really good and interesting to me. If you haven't seen this, check it out. You can download episodes via video on demand for free (assuming it's part of your Dtv package).
I've watched the Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Seether, Tom Morello and the Nightwatchmen, and Megadeth. Currently watching Alanis Morissette (damn, she is still hot). https://gc.guitarcenter.com/sessions/ |

Yeah, they're great. Joe Walsh was great. Even saw some unknowns (to me) that was nice to watch. Guy doing the interviews does a good job.

Rep for the link. Will be checking out Joe Walsh and Peter Frampton when I get some time.

Nick Harcourt. He's an amazing DJ and is responsible for breaking tons of bands, including Coldplay. He had an incredible show in Los Angeles called Morning Becomes Eclectic, in which he introduced his audience to all kinds of new artists and music.
He's also an excellent interviewer and never holds punches. The guy is just awesome. |
