I bought a Panasonic Plasma 50" ST50. I have never watched the 3-D but I love my TV. I have only bought Sony in the past. Just a reference, I told my GF I was thinking about replacing my Sony KDL-46XBR9 with another ST50 and she was all for it.
The ST50 is an editors choice from CNet. |

I just bought a Samsung PN51E7000, get it tomorrow. Picture looked amazing in the store. Good reviews, comes with 2 bluetooth rechargeable glasses, additional glasses are around 20 bucks. Its a plasma.

****ing amazing, I knew the picture was good but in my living room its even better. I also the knew the 3-D was pretty cool(didnt really buy it for 3-D) but its also really sweet. Black Ops 2 in 3-D is a whole 'nother level of gaming You can convert any 2-D to 3-D and that works really well, gives the picture more depth. I am very happy with my new TV
